Take a hike! Into your new favorite hot spot that is! Welcome to the back door into Joshua Tree National Park. There is a 1947 single family residence on the pristine 5 acres of desert. It is 1,537 sqft made of mostly stone and is believed to be one of the older homesteads in the area. The owner has had plans drawn up for the existing footprint that were once approved by the city, but have since expired, so it is possible to get this done. The plans can be given to the new owner upon closing if so desired. The garage has power with redone electrical, so you can use a generator. There is an outdoor shower with a dedicated water heater. As you shower, you can gaze up at the sky. The water is hauled onto the property as there is no public water source in this area of Yucca Valley for the time being. On the plus side you do not have to worry about needing to be connected to the sewer system at this time, and the homes in the area use septic tanks. With the state of the property as it is right now, it provides for the ultimate glamping experience while being less than 10 mins away from the town of Yucca Valley.
